SmartLink Remote Management
The included SmartLink Aircard uses LTE CAT M1 cellular communication to connect the SmartLine controller with Weathermatic's SmartLink platform. This allows authorized users to access controller programming and irrigation management functions remotely from compatible internet-connected devices.
SmartLink provides remote controller programming, manual zone and program operation, controller overviews, event information, historical reporting, valve location tools, and other irrigation management features.
Weather-Based Irrigation Control
The included SLW5 Wireless Weather Station enables the SmartLine controller's Auto Adjust mode. Instead of relying only on fixed watering times, the controller can use on-site weather data to calculate weather-based irrigation run times.
The SLW5 also supports adjustable rain shutoff and freeze protection. Freeze shutoff activates at approximately 37°F to help prevent irrigation during freezing conditions.
